I Should Exercise
|
Part of what's stressing you out is the anger you feel toward others or the situation you're in. (Usually it's situations that cause me stress more than people. Computer wars is my biggest stressor.)
You don't want to be stressed out, but factors out of your control are really messing with your mind. (Sometimes things out of my control do stress me out.)
You can work out some of those demons in a productive way through exercise. And it can be any exercise you choose. Go for a walk or a run. Chill out with yoga. Really get out some aggression with boxing. In the end, you'll be glad you did it. (
Exercise does help us to de-stress. Working out at the gym, walking or playing tennis all help and that's one reason I'm glad I got a Bosu training ball for my birthday, but the best way for me is to just lay with my pets and pet them up.)

You Should Write in a Journal
Part of what's stressing you out right now is not having all your thoughts sorted out.
There's a lot of confusion and chaos going on, and you need to get a handle on it all. And there's no better way to do that than to start writing.
At first your journal may not make sense to you, but that's okay. Just writing things down will help you.
Over time, you'll find that it's great to have an outlet to think, vent, and dream without judgment. Just make sure to put a lock on that journal!
Well, that's a surprise to me.
Have a terrific day. :)
I agree! When i'm really stressed i'll take the dogs out for a long walk, or do yoga. It's amazing how it really helps.
Fish oil will also help maintain a stable mood, but yuck it's gross and some people swear by St. John’s wort. Pets do a lot to lower stress and getting a massage even if it's only a facial will do wonders in helping with stress.
I should exercise more. I sometimes will go on walks.
I can't take Yoga seriously though. For some reason I always get the giggles.
I know, you are so right. Sometimes when I'm really stressed, I'll take the kids for a walk and it always helps! Thanks for the friendly reminder!
My cats are what stress me out! :-)
First they want me to open the door so they can go outside. Five minutes later they want me to open the door so they can come back in! And that would go on all day long if I'd let it!
Seriously, I need to get into an exercise routine, too. Just haven't been able to get motivated yet!
A good post on de-stressing!
And, have a happy SITS day!
Exercise is wonderful. When I was grieving, I used to head to the gym and start to swim until I was too exhausted to think any more. Exercise gets those endorphins going.
