Yea For the Buckeyes!

We are very happy the Buckeyes won the National Championship this year and watched most of the game last night.  I was very impressed with their third-string QB, Cardale Jones, and really enjoyed watching him.  I just wish the game didn't start so late because I had work the next day so went to bed in the 3rd quarter when the Buckeyes were ahead by just one point.  We taped it so I could watch the end of the game another time.  Manny Boy watched this game with me and let me pet him up.

Two days later when the temperature was -2, I put one of my OSU t-shirts on Abby for her walk, hoping it would help some.  She didn't seem to mind it and seemed to be able to walk just fine in it.

Aww Mondays/Monday Mischief: Abby's a Buckeye Fan

Go Bucks, and always make sure you get treats when having to pose for the camera!  Good luck training your humans!  Woof!  Woof!

It wasn't easy getting this picture because she kept moving but after several attempts, we finally got it.  I thought it would have made for a funny video so the next day we did it again, this time she actually cooperated well so sorry, it's not as funny the first time was.  But you'll at least see how well treat bribing training works.

Look What We Saw During The OSU Game

During the Ohio State football game Saturday, Gerard and I both took Abby out for a walk and we saw this guy run up and down the sidewalk waving an Ohio State flag because the Buckeyes had just scored.  We thought it was funny and since I happened to have my camera with me, I took a picture.  We live in a great neighborhood with many dog and cat owners and lots of Buckeye and Browns fans!

Manny and Spunky Doodle were having a nice time sharing the sun spot together in the computer room.  Seeing them so content and relaxed inspired me to even lay down for about 15 minutes.  I did way more walking today than usual at the park and then to a couple fall festivals at nearby churches.  I wish days like this would never end but alas, it is now 10:05 p.m. and I must get to bed--tomorrow is another day!

Meet The Owner of The OSU Beetle--A True Ohio State Buckeye Fan!

I saw this car in the parking lot at Giant Eagle one day when doing our grocery shopping and left a card on it asking the owner to email me if he/she was willing to be interviewed for my blog. Jaimie, the owner of this great looking car, emailed me and graciously answered our questions about the car and being a Buckeye fan:

The car is kind of football season car for me.  I got the car from a guy in NJ five years back. I had a company in Mentor do the art work. I took them some actual helmet decals and a mini replica football helmet and asked them to make the car look like it.

We love your car! It looks great!

Did you attend Oho State?
I did not attend OHIO STATE just grew up in Columbus where dad was taking us to the games since we were old enough to walk. Dad went there in the 70's and made us loyal to the Buckeyes early on.

Wow, your dad did a great job raising a Buckeye Fan. We would like to get to at least one game!
