Yippee For Spring!

I am so happy that spring is here and love to hear the birds chirping on my way to the bus stop. I think that is the first sign that spring is really coming soon! I’m in such a good mood that I’ll even share my spring poem with you:

Spring

Spring is here,
It brings us cheer.
Spring is here.

Now, when I took this spring quiz, it said my Spring sense is sound. I guess this time it is right on!

You love the way the sounds change during the spring time. It's like the whole world is waking up.

First the birds start chirping. Then the kids start playing. Before you know it, life is back in full swing again.

You are observant, thoughtful, and even philosophical. You like taking the time to pay attention to things.

You notice the little details that everyone else seems to overlook. And your memories tend to be extremely vivid.

to see what your Spring sense is and share your results in the comments.

That's a very cheery little poem. :)

We have a little snow this morning, but I'm not alarmed. Usually here in Upstate NY, we remain a little testy about winter, expecting snowstorms as late as mid-April. But I seriously think we won't have any significant snowfall for the rest of the season.

I'm ready for the warmer weather! Have a happy Monday.

OH, I love your little poem :) ) It's very sweet. Yes, I love spring for many, many reasons. The birds are amazing..and I"m seeing more blue scrubjays flying around. Plus, all the beautiful trees and flowers that are starting to bloom... All that color is a blessing from God. Plus, I'm having a lot of fun taking photos of all the beautiful blooms :) :) Have a great week. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

Rebecca: We'll probably get some more snow yet too but hopefully not much! I did have a happy Monday and glad you liked my poem.

Heather: I love when the flowers bloom in spring too. It just makes me feel better when I see signs of spring. Always happy for the longer days too!

Cat Chat: Thanks for taking the quiz!

My spring sense is touch. I think I have all the spring senses though because I love spring! It means tax season is almost over and I can enjoy 4 day weekends the rest of the year!

Well, I didn't take the quiz but I'm guessing sight and smell

My results came out as touch which is probably correct. No spring here :( Another 8 inches of snow and weather is still below freezing during the day. This winter is hanging on. I loved your poem too!

Beaded Tail: I am always relieved when my taxes are done. I sent my checks out last week! I'm curious as to what the sense of touch meant--enjoy picking up worms? walking in mud?

Sharkbytes: What, not touch? Don't you like sliding in the mud or picking up worms?

Mountain Woman: I'd like to know what your sense of touch means for spring. Does it mean you like picking up worms and walking through the mud? Thanks for stopping by. We are supposed to get some snow again too the end of this week--yuck! Enough already!

Karen,

Here's Sense of Touch

You're usually the first to notice when it changes over to spring. There's something about the air that just feels different.
You are very perceptive and you tend to be in tune with all of your senses. At times, it feels like you have a "sixth sense."

You like to lie back and experience spring to the fullest. Just feeling the newly warm sun on your skin makes you feel relaxed.
There's nothing like that first warm day to lift your spirits. Spring is the most optimistic time of the year!
