We Entered The Cat-O-lympics!

Read all about Fin's Cat-O-Lympics at Housecat Confidential (It's not just limited to cats, doggies can enter too).
Here is Manny's and Spunky Doodle's Synchronized Snoozing entry hosted by The Island Cats:

Abby and Gerard wanted to enter this event too. Abby wrote about this at Relaxing Time:

Here is Moe and Spunky Doodle entering the bare paw fighting hosted by The Cat's Meow (although it looks like Spunky has boxing gloves on but really she doesn't.

Here is Manny's entry for the Hiding Event hosted by Jennifer Lortan. He hid under the dresser when he first came to live with us.

Here is Spunky Doodle's entry for Extreme Climbing hosted by House of Cats.

Here is Manny's entry for the strong cat competition hosted by The Naughty Kitty Club.

Manny wrote all about this incident of knocking over the lamp at That Lamp Was In My Way!

Abby is entering the Squirrel Watching event at I Love The Snow hosted by The Furry Bambinos. You can read about her experience and see a video at "We Went Squirrel Chasing."

UPDATED 2/19/10: Here is Spunky Doodle's entry for the Late Night Human Wake-Up event sponsored by Mr. Tuck's Neighborhood.

This sounds like a great idea. I'm on my way over to check it out.
That's a great action shot in the bare paw fighting category.

Ah, Manny has exceptional hiding skills! Thanks for participating in the event! We have a little something special planned for Friday, on the blog, for all our hiding friends, so we hope you stop by.

Love all those pictures, especially the synchronized sleeping!!! Oh and the lamp, that's happened here as well. The funny thing is our cat will try to jump to avoid something but she'll end up hitting it anyway and then she runs away all freaked out, thinking it was a noise WE caused somehow, not her. Our cat may have a little bit of an anxiety problem I think.

Beaded Tail: Thanks! We like your entries too! Good luck!

Fin: We hope we win something--this was a lot of fun. We love being able to show off our talents! This was a brilliant idea!

Tatimbo: I'll have to stop by to see your entries!

Sparkle: Thanks!

Milo and Alfie: Thanks for the encouragement! We are glad we are not the judges--it's hard!

Denise: That's a wonderful goal, but there are so many! I just can't visit them all. Thanks for stopping by.

Jude: Yes, things are going well except we are tired of the cold weather and all the snow--spring can't come fast enough! Hope you are enjoying my book!

Jennifer: We stopped by Friday but didn't see anything new posted since last time.

Helene: Cats are so much fun! Thanks for stopping by; glad you enjoyed our pictures here. It's funny when Manny sometimes knocks the candle off our piano and it falls on the keys--he runs away so fast!

Constant Complainer: Spunky Doodle is thrilled you liked her boxing picture--she was a very brave kitty because Moe was about 3 times her size.

Fruitful Vine2: I never did either until now--just had to participate! My pets are so excited about it!

Denise: Thanks, I will stop by and visit your blog.

LadyFi & Sylvia: That made Spunky very happy!

Mrs 4444: Pets are easy to love--they grow on you and are very entertaining!

Furry Bambinos: Abby is so excited she won! It's her first medal ever and she didn't really expect to win since she's a dog. Wow, I wonder if we know your friend.
