7 Things I Learned This Week (funny, clothes, pets, books, YouTube, Classes) - UPDATED

Friday Fragments is hosted my Half-Past Kissin' Time for bloggers to post a list of short things on their minds that aren't really enough for a whole post. Here we go:

Cinnamon Challenge--Not Nice, Funny

I found this funny video over at Mama Kat's Losin' It that shows it is impossible to swallow a teaspoon of cinnamon! Poor Tina thought it was a contest but the other one didn't really do it and just laughed at her.

Black Jeans

I was SO happy yesterday when I discovered I could actually fit into my black jeans again! I couldn't get these zipped for the past two years but kept thinking, I would get back to where I could wear them again. I really like black jeans because any top goes well with them and of course, black is slenderizing. So if you are trying to fit into some old clothes of yours, keep at it! Don't give up!

Cat Tree

When we had our carpets cleaned yesterday, I had to move the cat tree and found out Spunky Doodle and Manny Boy liked the new spot in the computer room by the window. Maybe I'll just keep it there. They both laid on it all afternoon enjoying the sun. (Most of the morning, they were hiding under the bed while the carpet cleaner was here.)

Super Powers

After reading Pivot Point by Kasie West, I realize that having super powers may not be all it's cracked up to be. It was a fun YA read! Speaking of books, we are giving away HER by Christa Parravani. Just follow the link to our book blog and be the first to comment that you'd like it (offer for US residents only)!

Cleveland Indians

I am glad the Indians are off to a good start and look forward to opening day here in Cleveland. I usually get to wear Indians apparel to work that day! Yea for me!

YouTube

I did a vlog yesterday (which is harder than it looks) and discovered YouTube is changing the channel design again. I really prefer the old way--I know, I know, another sign of old age. None of my pictures are the right size for the header and organizing the videos by categories is more work, yuck! I wasted spent so much time on there yesterday!  (Click on our "our videos" tab at top to check out our channel.)

Couponing

A coupon class? Seriously? In the Women of Wonder newsletter at church, they announced a coupon class coming up. Why need a class on that? Just cut coupon you want to use, take to store, redeem the coupon. Am I missing something? Think I should go just to rag on it for a blog post?

Yea for you on the weight loss and getting back into those jeans! I did the opposite--as I get older, my weight is shifting and now I'm NOT fitting into those jeans in the drawer. :( The weight it the same...it's just all shifting. What is with that???!

I have found that my cats like me to move the kitty tree too. I think it gives it new interest. Maybe they get confused and think it's new! Hahaha!

Happy Baseball Season! I know we are excited here too!

I've never been brave enough to try the cinnamon challenge - I saw it on another blog and mentioned it to Princess Nagger, who immediately had to try it (without success, I might add!) :)

You give me hope! Maybe some day I'll fit into my favorite black jeans, too. ;)

Wait, what? A couponing class? Crazy! :)

My human would LOVE for you to attend the couponing class and rag on it! She does not see the point in a class either.

Hey! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site?
I'm getting tired of Wordpress because I've had issues with hackers
and I'm looking at options for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

Congrats on getting in those jeans again! That's always a nice surprise! Some people take couponing so seriously but they can end up saving a lot on their grocery bills. I don't use coupons because I don't remember them or they aren't for items I use.
