These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. --John 15:11
These are the joyful moments I usually have through the day (except for the eating one because I don't always have chocolate and Girl Scout Cookies).
Beginning of my day: Petting my cats and dog and visiting blogs.
Off to work: Looking at the beautiful sunrise on my way to work. The picture above is one I took last week as I walked to the bus stop.
At work: Eating a delicious piece of chocolate or one of those chocolate mint Girl Scout Cookies and walking outside on breaks and at lunch.
Evening: Seeing my husband and dog coming to meet me at the bus stop or back from their walk, both happy—husband smiling and dog wagging her tail.
Evening/Night:
One of my cats either coming on my lap or laying on or against me.
How about you—what brings you joy in your days?

My Mommeh's favorite time is after she gets home from work (about 8:30 pm) and gets to sit down with Harley and I on her lap, a glass of wine, and a few pieces of good chocolate.
My dog for sure brings me lots of joy :)
Someone ELSE making me dinner and cleaning up afterward... that would be heaven.
Pretty much all of these things work for me too. Then there's going to the boat on the weekends. I'm pretty much happy all the time and I don't even require chocolate.
Have a terrific day Karen. :)
Waking up to Angel sitting on my nightstand watching me is always a great way to start the day. All my pets bring me joy all day long and of course chocolate is always welcomed!
Ah, my joy is always from my family...children, hubby, dog. It brings me such joy to know that they love me no matter what ;)
Aw...I love those things. I miss GS cookies! My cat and dog are part of the joy of my life, too!
Karen,
Your sunrise picture is beautiful. I loved your post and the things that bring you joy. So simple, yet so wonderful. I find joy in so many things too from our daily routine of coffee in the mornings to dinners shared together and spending the days with the animals. Life is just wonderful. Thanks for this post.
