still working at skipping the donuts |
I have ten resolutions/goals for 2013, some of which are repeats from last year because I still want to do them. Here they are:
- Move: Don't lay if I can sit; don't sit if I can stand, don't stand if I can walk, don't walk if I can run.
- Bank spouse's paycheck in savings.
- Keep track of what charities I give to and just make one donation to those I do not support monthly. Support Samaritan's Purse monthly in place of Boys Town.
- Park in the first open spot I see on nice days.
- Love all, serve all. Show more kindness to people I actually see, including strangers..
- Get new linoleum for kitchen.
- Get new front doorknob--it's still broke.
- Go out to lunch at least every other month with a friend or co-worker.
- Get den closet cleaned out.
- My word for 2013: declutter. I am going to try to throw something away every day. Gerard was glad to hear this!
.If you guessed No. 8 is going to be my biggest challenge, you are correct!.

I used to go to lunch with coworkers everyday when I was working. It was fabulous.
I don't have any new year resolutions. I shall not fail either. I gave up on them years ago.
Have a terrific weekend, and let us know when you have lunch with a coworker. Scritches to the babies. :)
That did surprise me that going out every other month would be the biggest challenge. I would have thought it would be #10 especially on like day 250 and beyond! Good for you for saving Gerard's paycheck! I'm a saver too and max out Roth IRA contributions, etc. every year. Gotta love the tax free return after retirement!
Well that sounds fun and I hope you keep it up. But I guessed wrong. Number nine was my guess. That would be the most difficult for me to keep!!
I hope you're having a great weekend!
Hugs:-)
While I would not have guessed that one, I get it. I like to eat a healthy lunch, so I never go out to eat when I work. Also, I am not really close to anyone anymore at work that I'd like to go out with. That said...I work part-time and so I'd rather eat at my desk to get out of there earlier too.
Happy New Year! You have great (and attainable) resolutions. Saving is always hard for us with the kids.
