Karen used to put food in my bowl twice a day that I could eat all day long. I must admit, I ate most of it all at once and then vomited it up. Gross, I know, but it’s just so good I can’t help myself! Then as some of you know, I got a Kong because I Karen saw me knocking over Abby’s and eating some of her food.

I could fit my whole head in! |
My Kong is much, much smaller though and Karen only fills it twice for breakfast and twice for supper. But I was able to get a feast recently when the last bag of cat food my mom bought ripped down the side when she opened it! I watched and waited until she went to work. Then I found the bag and knocked it off the shelf, just like I do with my Kong.

See the small hole on the front of the bag halfway down? |
When I went back the next day, there was a different bag without the big hole in it. I worked very hard and was able to chew a hole through the side of the new bag and what do you know? Some of that food fell out for me! I made a mistake though by not eating it all up. When Karen came home, she discovered it and now she put the bag in the closet so I can’t get to it through the day.
I hope she got the message though that I need more food! It’s no wonder I sometimes go for the dog’s food if I can find it. I know I was chunky, but not anymore. Now I’m hungry! Just call me Hungry Spunky and please, could you leave a comment telling her to give me more food. (I got the Kong when you told her to get one for me.)

Don't look at me--Hobbes is 18 pounds! AND he's supposed to be on a diet! I guess you and Hobbes are two peas in a pod. :)
Well maybe mom can give you just a bit more food in the morning and the night. Maybe. You don't want to be sick though.
Have a purrfect day. My best to your mom. :)
My roommate Binga would do exactly the same thing if she could, but my human hides the food somewhere that she can't get to!
I had to look up the "Kong" that you were talking about. That looks very interesting--I bet our dogs and cats both would love one!!
Lin: Spunky Doodle says: I'm down to my goal weight, just 10 lbs. I am not big boned like Hobbes though. At 18, he probably should lose some weight. He's a wonderful, gorgeous cat though. We all love Hobbes!
Sandee: I tried giving Spunky slightly more this morning and a bed time snack but she threw up this morning. I'm still looking or just the right balance. At least she doesn't throw up as often anymore since I'm using the kong.
Sparkle: Spunky Doodle says: Binga sounds like fun! I bet we would have a great time playing together!
MarytheKay: The Kong works great for slowing down the eating. The food lasts a little longer this way. We give our dog one whenever we go somewhere which makes her feel better about not being able to come along.
