Perhaps it's time for you to get a pet and give a homeless cat or dog a good home? Take a visit to your local animal shelter. Maybe a stray has found you. Why not take it in and give it a good home like we did with Spunky Doodle?

For sure, if you have pets, give them some special attention this week. Maybe give them a little extra play time, pet them more than usual or give them some special treats.

Those are some good ideas, and every animal could use a little extra kindness! My Mommie says that adoptions at the local shelter are way down and kitten season is starting.
