At lunch today, I went to the mall garden to get a picture for a blog post, then to the
library garden (pictured above) to read. It was in the low 80s and a gorgeous day. The sun was so bright it made me squint and couldn't concentrate so I moved to the shade under the trees in the middle of the garden near the water. That was much better. All of a sudden,
plop, right on a page of the book I'm reading about nature in
Adventures With Ari, a birdie dropping fell on it. Fortunately, it missed my head. It would have been messy since I didn't wear my cap today, but from now on I will. I wiped the page off the best I could using a leaf before closing the book. I didn't think about that when I moved under the trees. Have to watch out for those bird bombers!

Birds are flying poo-poo houses. I'm glad you didn't get any on you.
Have a terrific day. :)
That was certainly a close call and luckily it didn't land on you!
Good thing the birdie poop missed your head. :)
Does anyone else see the irony that the poop landed squarely on a paragraph about what animals eat? Funny!
Glad the book was the victim and not you!
eww, imagine if it had been a laptop your were reading...on the keyboard
Birds can be very, very rude sometimes!
Sandee: You can say that again. That's why we never let our bird fly around the house when we had one.
Beaded Tail & Modern Mom: Yes, good thing it missed me for sure!
Kathy: I thought it ironic that it pooped on my nature book, but didn't realize that particular paragraph was about what animals eat until you pointed it out. Love my digital camera that I could get a clear picture of the text here!
Alan: That certainly would have been worse! Don't have to worry though, I have no laptop and no Kindle.
Daisy: Yes, they can. They bomb our car all the time, especially if Gerard washes it!
