What Is Your Favorite Amusement Park Ride?

My favorite ride is the Roller Coaster.  Not the upside down ones but the ones that have lots of hills and turns.  The first roller coaster I rode was “The Little Dipper” at Memphis Kiddiepark.  I don’t have a picture of me on it when I was little but this is one of me on it when I went with our Sparkies from our AWANA Club.

The first big roller coaster I rode was the “Blue Streak” at Cedar Point.  I loved it!  It only has one really long steep hill at the beginning but after that has a lot of smaller hills which are just fun.  I even sat in the first car sometimes.  I love that I fly off the seat as it rushes down the hill.  I either have to hold my glasses so they don’t fly off or use a band to hold them on like my dad used to wear.  I always scream when going down the hill.

I have ridden many different ones since and like the wooden ones best.  Unfortunately, Gerard hates roller coasters.  He will go on to please me but he grips on so tight that his knuckles turn white and refuses to scream (which is the problem).  Screaming actually helps you cope.  He does not see the fun it them at all!

What Does Your Pizza Say About You?

I love pizza! I could easily eat a whole medium one myself in one sitting but I don't. When I worked out with a personal trainer at Fitworks several years ago, we would get a large 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 cheese pizza every Sunday and I would have three pieces for lunch and take two for lunch the next two days. My trainer was not pleased. He said pizza and losing weight doesn't go together. I protected my pizza. I told them I would not give up pizza! I did, however, cut back on it. We now order a medium instead of a large and I limit myself to just two pieces per meal. It's not easy, but I do it. Casamel's is a little pizza shop about 10 min. from our home and we are regular customers there. I like it better than any of the chain pizza places even though it costs a bit more than some. It's rare when we don't call up on a Sunday to order one for pickup. I like it because their sauce is so good--it's not real spicy and their crust is good too, for crust.

Since I am a pizza lover, I couldn't resist taking this little personality quiz and sure enough, the results fit me 100%! What about you?

I thought this sounded a bit dumb but was curious as to what it would say so took the little quiz for fun. It turns out that it very accurately sums up personality! The only thing is based on which purse I use, one says I am low maintenance and adapt to a variety of situations and the other says just the opposite: that I am high maintenance and feel lost outside my normal environment. This is even accurate because sometimes I adapt easily but other times I feel uncomfortable.

What Does Your Wedding Dress Say About You?

When I was shopping for a wedding dress, I wanted something light, easy to walk in, traditional, modest and not real expensive. I was so happy when I found the perfect dress for me at David's Bridal which I have pictured here taken last year on my 10th anniversary (and the price was right). I could still fit into it! I'm really not big on dresses, mostly because of having to wear nylons and dress shoes with them. Since this dress came down to the floor, after the ceremony and reception immediately following, I changed into some white tennis shoes which I wore for the pictures at Stan Hywett Gardens in Akron, Ohio.
