Friday Fragments is hosted my Half-Past Kissin' Time for bloggers to post a list of short things on their minds that aren't really enough for a whole post. Here we go:
Imaginary Friends
After reading memoirs of an imaginary friend by Matthew Dicks, I learned that it's best to imagine your friend is a very fast runner, is smart and can go through walls . . . and that it can move things in the real world. (The link will take you to our review.)Entrecard
I noticed the Entrecard on blogs didn't seem to be working and then a fellow blogger (Mike) told me it was gone. I don't miss it at all, in fact, he told me this two weeks ago and I just got around to mentioning it on here now. Anyone else miss it? Just wondering.Weather
When cats lay with their front paws tucked under them, cold weather is coming (or they are cold). When it's hot, they stretch out. Mine sometimes even lay on their back then with their legs in the air.Blob
Know what a blob is? I didn't until I read "Behind The Scenes of a Family Photo Shoot" over at MarytheKaytheBlog. Click on the link to see for yourself and you will also see how to make a family photo shoot fun!Early Wake Up
Last night my dog, Abby Dabby Doo, decided she wanted my attention at 2 a.m. She climbed on and off the bed twice and so I got up and tried closing her out of the bedroom. Sure enough, by the time I walked around the bed to get back in, she started barking and scratching at the door. I went to sleep on the couch then with her on the floor nearby and she was fine. I slept about 20 minutes and decided to try the bed again. Nope, she started whining AGAIN so I got up and at 3 a.m. decided I might as well watch Survivor that I DVRd. Manny climbed up to watch with me and Abby settled down. Finally, I went back to bed at 3:40 so I got another 20I liked the added TV time! Love Survivor! That's what she gets for leaving me 2 nights in a row!
min. of sleep before my alarm woke me up at 4:15 a.m.
Can't see my legs, can you? |

I was up with Erik last night too... but he's a cranky almost two year old boy, so I really hope he learns to sleep through the night...
Okay, what is with the dog?? I'd be really, really crabby with that. Why does she want you up at that hour? Does she know you have to go to work in the morning??? Sheesh.
EC was corrupt by the time I left it a couple of years ago. It was a nice concept and I found a ton of good blog friends that way, but it was not run properly. I took down my EC widget years ago, but kept the account open. I'd get 20 or 25 clicks a day on a non-existent widget! And they were always by the same "blogs". Hmmmmm...something was fishy.
I don't miss all the time Entrecard took. I think they way they went offline sucked though. I had money invested and it's gone. I would have gladly spent it if I had known it was going to dissolve.
Have a terrific day and weekend. :)
I too hate really early wake ups. It just throws ones day off.
We stopped Entrecard years ago, too. It took too much time. But it was a good idear!
I do not miss struggle to do the dropping that I was doing.I hated the way it died especially since folks lost money because of it.
Isn't it crazy how pets are like that? I couldn't even go potty alone after I left my dog for vacation a week. He went nutty! I hope you catch up on sleep soon.
Our dogs sleep with us, but one doesn't like to be touched when he's asleep,so if a foot inadvertently touches him, he growls. W have very spoiled dogs!
I wake up my human only in the morning when its time for us to go for that walk!

Poor you with this interrupted sleep ! I noticed that when rain is in the air cats wash behind their ears ! and it's very true if they do it, you can be sure it will rain in the next days !
Thank you for the mention!!! :-)
