3 Things I Learned in Week 7 of 2009

At Word Journey I found out this week that GodTube has been replaced by Tangle. Here's the link to the post about it if you're interested: GodTube Becomes Tangle Expands Purpose.

I learned about a Blog Award site from Justin Germino. He even made an instructional video showing how to vote for your favorite blogs and you have a chance at winning some money when you vote and comment. Check out http://blognetawards.com and find some great blogs!

Happy Hoodie-Hoo Day! It's always on February 20. This morning I just learned about this holiday at Marge and Edna's Basement. In the Northern Hemisphere, it's a day to chase away winter and bring in spring by going outside at noon, waving your hands above your head and chanting "Hoodie-Hoo." This is hilarious to me and I am so sick of winter, I just might do it!

I'm off to visit the blog award site. I'd love to win something. And, I never knew about Hoodie-Hoo Day! Thanks Karen.

Thank you for the Word Journey mention, Karen. I haven't spent much time yet over at the new Tangle, but it seems as if it has a lot of good things going for it, particularly allowing missionaries to keep contact with people from all over the globe.

Hoodie-Hoo! Hoodie-Hoo!

Maybe it is not a coincidence that Harley is wearing a hoodie today.

Justin is one of my daily Entrecard drops. I'll check that out.

Have a terrific weekend Karen. :)

HA! I'm laughing because my favorite contestant on "Top Chef" says, "Hootie-Hoo" all the time. I didn't know "Hoodie-Hoo" was a saying OR a holiday. So I learned something today, too!
