Shower Problem Solved--Next is Grass Problem

I like the shower curtain--it kind of sparkles!

Yea for Hot Water

Our former Bible study leader who owns Home Solutions Network came over to look at the stuck shower doors and fixed the water problem too when I mentioned it. The water never got hot because the safety thing on the knob to prevent kids from being burned by having the water too hot was keeping the knob from turning far enough to get hot water. The doors got stuck because whenever we opened them, they would rub against each other. They were all scuzzy too so instead of having Steve stablize the one, I just asked him to take them out and decided to go with a shower curtain and extension rod. I am happy with my purchase from Walmart that I was actually able to install on my own.

We're going to make a list of all that needs to be done and give him a call. After being dissatisfied with Handyman Connection after the past two jobs they did for us, I am glad to have found Steve.

Burnt Grass

Sure wrecked up our nice lawn!
We threw out the moldy, broken shower doors but the garbage pickup of bulk items didn't happen and they sat on our tree lawn for two days. When they were finally picked up on our regular garbage day, the rectangle of grass where they were laying was all brown! Aren't these considered "bulk items" or did the garbage bulk item p/u just not happen? I'm hoping it will be revived with water, but don't know. We may have to replant some grass. What do you think?

Good idea to put up the shower curtain! Glad it was an easy fix for the water too! Bummer about the lawn. Sure hope it comes back after being burned like that.

Glad you got the shower problem fixed and a shower curtain is sure easier to replace when needed, than a glass door. Hopefully, the grass will come back in the bare spot.

I don't like shower doors either and would much rather have a shower curtain. You can take that down and run it through the wash.

The lawn will come back just water it a bit more for a few days.

Have a fabulous day. Scritches to the babies. :)

Sandee is correct- the lawn will come back- grass is hard to kill!
Good fix on the shower- shower curtains are far more sanitary as you can zip them through the wash!
Have a great day!

I don't think this grass is going to come back--we've had good rain for a solid week and a half and it's still as brown as ever. I raked some of it up this morning so perhaps that might help?
