Color Is Good--Eat Healthy!

This is an email that Louise over at Country Pictures sent to me that I think is so good, I want to share it with my readers.

C
OLOR IS GOOD

Yesterday I went to the doctor
For my yearly physical.
My blood pressure was high.
My cholesterol was high.
I'd gained some weight,
and I didn't feel so hot.
My doctor said eating right
doesn't have to be complicated
and
it would solve my physical
problems.
He said:
Just think in colors.
Fill your plate with bright colors.
Try some greens, oranges, reds,
maybe something yellow, etc.
and eat an entire bowl of
bright colors.

And Sure Enough,
I Felt Better Immediately !!
I never knew eating right
could be so easy !!

Now stay healthy,
eat your colors,
and have a nice day!
Are you a healthy eater? This cartoon shows the way I think!

Your doctor should have been a bit more specific. Just saying.

Have a terrific day. :)

HAHA!!!

I don't like M&Ms that much. But they certainly are very colorful!

Thanks for your comments on this silly post. I do think doctors aren't always as specific as they should be and sometimes made us feel rushed. Actually, I have increased my "color" intake by eating salad almost every day--(without dressing). I've also been eating more fruit in a variety of colors: bananas, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries.
