I HATE YOU!

I must have the dumbest computer monitor ever.  Two weeks ago, I'm sitting at my computer trying to see the screen because the picture is so light and the afternoon sun was glaring on it.  Fortunately, Gerard was out walking the dog.  I am literally screaming at my AOC computer monitor.

It has a button on the front that I always have to hold in to get up a menu from which I choose picture boost so it darkens the picture to make it easier for me to see.  This is annoying, but I've gotten used to it.  However, sometimes it locks up and when I called the support number, I was told to turn it off, hold in the button and at the same time hold the ring around the button at different spots until it unlocks.  I should have had a video of this that day and you could see my temper erupt.

I kept trying to get it unlocked so I can see the screen but it wasn't working. I was sitting there, feeling my blood pressure rise, yelling this at the monitor at the top of my lungs:

Oh c'mon.  You stupid thing, work already!  I don't have time for this!  C'MON!  I HATE YOU!  WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP!  I PAY ALL THIS MONEY FOR A HEAP OF JUNK!  I DON'T KNOW WHY I KEPT THIS THING, well, yes I do.  I just didn't want to bother returning it and looking for another one.  C'MON! I HATE YOU!  Dog gone it! (Bang, pound on the desk).  I FEEL LIKE THROWING YOU OUT THE WINDOW!  I HATE YOU, YOU STUPID THING!  WORK ALREADY!
Can you sense my anger?  After about 20 minutes, it finally worked.  Whew!  I'm thinking, is this really worth getting so worked up over?  No.  I have to calm down.

What makes your blood boil?  Do you find yourself ever yelling at inanimate objects?  I hope I'm not the only one.

Whenever we buy something that has to be put together, more often than not a crucial piece is missing!

Oh yeah! I get really frustrated with "things". I once couldn't get the hose off my shop-vac and stood there wrestling with it for 10 minutes. I finally got so frustrated, I threw the darn thing across the garage. But, the hose came off!! (Okay, so I cracked a big hole in the thing too and rendered it useless, but I'm not admitting to that part. Oops)

I yell at my computer often. I see we are alike on this one. The other thing that drives me up the wall is traffic. There are some of the stupidest people on the planet out on the roads. How they got a license is beyond me.

Have a terrific day. :)

Technology and traffic can easily get me riled up! I'm working on just letting it go but sometimes I do just what you did.

My computer monitor is too bright also and makes some websites hard to read but if I try and change the settings to darken it then it distorts the color and doesn't look right. I haven't yelled at it yet but it annoys the heck out of me every day.

Wow, can I relate! I'm always yelling at our computer mostly because it hangs up and goes so slowly when I'm trying to work. I feel your pain :-)
