Thinking Thursday Q & A Interaction Game: Friends

The game is easy! I will ask a question about a specific topic. The first person who comments will answer my question, and will leave a question for the next person to answer about the same topic. This next person will answer that question, and leave a question for the next person to answer related to the same topic.

For example, if the topic is PETS, all questions should relate to that topic. What kind of pet do you have? What is your pet's name? As much as possible, let’s not repeat the questions for added fun! You are also welcome to play more than once.

This week's topic: Friends

The first to comment answers my question which is this:
What do you think is the most important characteristic or quality a friend should have?

I think loyalty would be top of the list. Someone who won't talk about you behind your back, who will tell you when you have something stuck in your teeth, and who you can count on no matter what.

My question about friends is: do you have lots and lots of casual friends, or just a few really close friends?

Actually I have lots of acquaintances for friends and very few close.

Question: If you saw your friend's husband out with another woman, would you tell her?

No, I wouldn't tell her. I would tell him to tell her.

You see a person drop a 100 dollar bill. They don't know they dropped it. Would you give it back, or would you keep it?

I would give it back to them.

Question: Do you still keep in touch with your friends from school/college?

Answer: No, but I have reconnected with a couple of them through Facebook.

Question: Have you ever betrayed a friend's confidence?

Have I ever betrayed a friend's confidence?

I'm sure I did in my younger days, but nothing that I can recall.

My question...

Who do you consider to be your best friend and why?
